The female population may have reached the moon today and are everywhere walking shoulder to shoulder with men , but curiously, when it comes to self defense , or women to live under the impression that "nothing bad " will happen to them , or rely on male family members to" take care "of them. It is good to give people a renewed ego is a very regressive way of thinking and can be very harmful for women. Women today need to learn to protect themselves from predators , even in the most unlikely of places .

Why should you consider self-defense

This is precisely the reason why women should be experts in self defense. Include some statistics. In the United States , a woman is raped and one in four women you meet may have been the victim of an unthinkable crime! Not terrible ? Well, if you are a woman reading this, now is the time to do something about it! You are insured against health problems or any other right of an emergency? So why not learn a form of martial arts as a safe for your physical being ! Not only for their own sake but for the sake of your family, you should make a point to take something like karate , ju jitsu and taekwondo .

Do you feel intimidated about reading , you feel that all these activities of men? Proper lady is not all sweaty and abused ! Well, first things first , things such as taekwondo , karate or even ju jitsu do not detract from her femininity ! If all that you contribute to building your self-confidence and are also great forms of exercise to help you stay fit and healthy.

Start with an introductory course

If you are not sure to take a complete course of self- defense first, try to start with something like kickboxing that will give you the confidence to take a form of martial art . Kickboxing or even kettleball can serve a great premise for a course of self - defense as they build strength and increase flexibility. Once you feel ready , you can choose from a form of martial art that you think you want and enjoy the most learning.

No martial art that can be classified as "easy" or "difficult" , just as there are different levels. In preparation, you can also choose to do some of your own research on the Internet to find what you feel most comfortable . You do not have to become a teacher or to achieve the highest level of any form of self-defense that you choose, but make sure you practice enough and learn enough, then it can be put to use if , God forbid a situation were you might need .
